Hello!

My name is Daisy and I live in beautiful sunny San Diego with my husband, daughter, son, and two gorgeous pups. Most of the time you’ll find me chasing after my kiddos or running with my whole clan. I’m the mom running through the neighborhood with the running stroller and two labs attached at my waist. Family means everything to me. I have very fond memories of family-get-togethers at my grandparent’s house where I would play for hours on end with my cousins. You can imagine coming from a huge Mexican family, a simple get together would turn into an all night party.

Here’s a few random things about me:

  • I am left handed.

  • I have a love/hate relationship with my curly hair

  • I love living close to a body of water but I am terrified of the ocean. Also, I have horrible motion sickness so being on a boat is not ideal.

  • Elephants are my favorite animal.

  • I don’t drink soda but I love me some margaritas. I love tangy drinks. You can also find me siping on a double IPA at our local brewery.

  • I also work at a local hospital as a night shift Respiratory Therapist.

  • I was told I had a 0.1% chance of getting pregnant and my little one proved everyone wrong coming all natural with no medical help.

  • I often get asked if my daughter is mine because she looks nothing like me. People assume I’m the nanny.

So how did I get into photography? Photography came back into my life after the birth of my daughter, Dahlia. Unfortunately, I suffered from postpartum depression/anxiety and just couldn’t shake it off. It was recommended that I find another hobby that sparked joy in my life since nothing else was working. I picked up my old Nikon DSLR camera and the rest is history! Since then I’ve been working hard in improving my skills in order to deliver beautiful photos to my clients. I love what I do and I hope you love my work!

xoxo,

Daisy
